This is a tutorial on photoshop. Here I tried to show you how you can add a border to text with photoshop. I used here photoshop cc 2017 version to add border around text. You can use any of photoshop version to do same stroke effect on text. This is very easy and simple way to do this. I just add stroke effect under blending section.
